Yarn of choice based on size and texture desired
Hook required to easily work chosen yarn
[In this example I used a lightweight fingering yarn and a size C hook]
Step One: Chain (10 for small) (15 for medium) (25 for large)
Step Two: Insert into first chain space from your hook. Yarn over and pull through all loops on your hook, so that one loop remains (slip stitch).
Step Three: Slip Stitch into the next (4 for small) (5 for medium) (7 for large).
Step Four: Insert hook into side loop of the first slip stitch you made.
Step Five: Now insert your hook into the next chain space, Yarn over and pull through all the loops on your hook, until one remains.
Step Six: Line up the edge stitches of the 'rosette in progress' with the next chain space, so that the two outer threads of each lay beside each other. Insert your hook through the side thread of the next stitch in the rosette and the next chain space together. Yarn over and pull through all loops on your hook.
Step Seven: Continue lining up each chain space to the next side stitch of the rosette and slip stitch them together.
